Welcome: Sweet Talk

I first met Mariska, Sweet Talk owner, about 7 years ago. I was working with her husband, and she wanted some advice on opening a cake business, working from home while her first born was a baby. I don’t think either of us predicted how successful the business was going to be – first a home-based business, then with a shared space, and now with its very own home and espresso bar.

Sweet Talk is based in Eden Terrace (24 Virginia Avenue East) with the espresso bar out front and kitchen where all the baking magic happens out the back. You’ll find our coffee there, as well as a regularly changing array of decadent treats. You can also order full cakes and their famous cake jars online, for pick-up at the store or delivery.
